Have you ladies ever heard of jumpsuit phobia? No? Lol.

Well, me neither! But I think it’s safe to say that I recently invented and diagnosed myself with "jumpsuit phobia." For me, jumpsuit phobia can be described as a person who has an extreme or irrational fear of wearing a jumpsuit. I've always loved seeing other women in jumpsuits, but when I wear one, I feel as though the jumpsuit extenuates my biggest insecurity: my stomach. If you're an avid follower of my blog, you already know that my stomach is my biggest insecurity! In my early blogging years, I wrote tons of posts about my stomach and how it made me insecure about my body and made me resent myself. During workouts, I even went as far as to wear a waist trainer. And when I went to the gym and didn’t have anything to tighten my stomach, I didn’t feel motivated to work out.

So now, here comes the chic and edgy, yet classy invention of "the jumpsuit," an article of clothing I would love to wear, but completely fear that it would draw too much attention to my stomach. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I do try to wear jumpsuits here and there but I’ve never felt as confident as I would wearing something else that hides my stomach. You can’t fake confidence. You can't fake being comfortable in your body when you’re not and that’s what I would always do when I wore a jumpsuit.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately: on myself and my fears. And I’m not going to lie, there are many cases where I try to fake it, just to make it. But then I realized that I don’t have to. Yes, I’m currently working on accepting all of me, and it’s a journey but that doesn’t mean I should eliminate clothing choices just to avoid everyone noticing my fear. So, I own a new jumpsuit, y’all! A beautiful size 18 jumpsuit! I want to feel confident in this jumpsuit and to me, feeling confident also means feeling comfortable!!! When you’re confident andCOMFORTABLE in what you’re wearing, no one can tell you anything! When we’re confident in ourselves, in our faith, and in pushing ourselves to our goals, nobody can tell us anything!!! <3 <3 <3
