What Does Healing Look Like To You?!
Heal Sis, Heal…. - The best thing you can give yourself during a challenging season is to practice healing. Allow healing to be a part of your journey. You cannot move on to the next season, to your Sun moment, if you do not allow yourself to work on that current pain. Do not take baggage to your next chapter. It just brings irrelevant stories that needed a period only you could put. It also adds unnecessary weight that you do not need to carry. Unpack, pray, forgive for you, release the emotions, give yourself grace, heal.

What does healing look like to you?! For me, it’s a process of allowing myself to feel all the feels, not holding any emotions back. Healing also reminds me that every day is different, but God’s protection and love are constant throughout each day. Healing believes that I’ll be entirely free one day, but I’ll keep doing the work until then. Healing is praying, talking on the phone with my tribe, going out, working out, staying in, and watching 90 sitcoms. Getting dressed up just for me, loving my peace, and constantly looking in the mirror affirming myself of all of God’s promises and telling myself I could get through today because God did it yesterday. Although this journey is challenging, I’m not alone. Healing is Isaiah 40: 28-31.
'Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.' Isaiah 40:28-31 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/ISA.40.28-31
And during your time of healing, I want to remind you He certainly gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Give everything, especially the pain, to God, and He’ll take you to a different level of healing you’ve never experienced before.
